Speakers

All speakers sound different.

Your speakers are the choice that most affect the way your system sounds and suits you. You need to listen carefully using music or movie sound you know, in a quiet room that is similar to your own listening area.

The Sturmans demonstration rooms are designed to be like the conditions in your home. They allow you to listen without distraction and to take as long as you like. Our experts are on hand to answer every question.

You need to match your speakers with your other components.

Speakers range from high-end models for the finest enjoyment of music, to many designer styles that hardly look like speakers at all, tiny speakers, wireless and powered speakers for multiroom systems to the various speakers for surround and home theatre systems. There are also sub-woofers to add bass where needed.

A speaker must sound the way you would like it to sound with your preferred music style, suit the room both acoustically and aesthetically, match the rest of your equipment and suit your budget.

Some of the choices:

  • Free standing on the floor
  • On a piece of furniture
  • On the walls
  • In or on the ceiling
  • High design styles
