3x Brighter Colours with Epson

Brilliant image quality requires high colour brightness (colour light output), and Epson® 3LCD projectors have 3x Brighter Colours than leading competitive projectors. One brightness measurement (lumens) is not enough. A projector‘s specification needs to show both high colour brightness and high white brightness. If colour brightness is lower than white brightness, images may be dark, dull and lose detail. If not be sure to ask for a projector’s colour brightness specification.

Live Horizontal and Vertical Keystone Correction
Epson’s horizontal and vertical keystone correction means you can project a rectangular image from any angle. With the EB-1945W, it all happens automatically. The EB-1945W is so clever, it can correct both vertical and horizontal keystone as you move the projector. So with the EB-1945W, you can position your projector off to the side and above or below the screen, while your presentation is perfectly square, front and centre.

Quick Corner

This innovative feature allows you to move any of the four corners of an image independently at setup, using the remote control to adjust each corner for a perfectly rectangular picture.

USB Display Function and USB Memory Slide Show

The EB-1945W can display your presentation via a connection to a PC with a simple USB cable. You can also create and display images directly from a USB memory device*, making it possible to give presentations without the need for a PC.

Advanced Networking

With the EB-1945W, it’s possible to monitor and control up to 1,024 networked Epson projectors from a remote location. Schedule power on or off timings, check projector status and receive maintenance alerts. Users can even project presentations in up to four rooms from one networked location. This is possible both over a wired connection (via RJ45 connection) or via the 802.11b/g/n wireless module which is included in the box.

Low Power Consumption – EuP Compliance

At Epson, we know that planning for the future requires a strong commitment to the environment. That’s why these products conform to the new European Directive on Eco-Design of energy using products. The main objective of this directive is to ensure energy efficiency throughout a product’s lifecycle. Each of the models in the EB-1700 series conform to the criteria of this directive.

iProjection

Display and control content from your iPhone®, iPad® or iPod® touch with the Epson iProjection App and any nearby wireless or networked Epson projector. Whether projecting a PowerPoint presentation loaded to the iProjection App or a photo slideshow from your iPad, Epson’s iProjection gives you the wireless freedom you’ve come to expect from your mobile device. This App is easy to use and navigate with intuitive menu options that make it simple to bring your iOS content to the big screen.

DICOM Simulation Mode

DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communication in Medicine) is a standard for handling, storing, printing, and transmitting information in medical imaging, which includes a file format definition and a network communications protocol. The DICOM simulation mode in the EB-1945W can reproduce images with gray level very close to DICOM Part 14 (Grayscale Standard Display Function). This mode is ideal for viewing grayscale medical images such as X-ray pictures for training and education in the medical institutions.

Award-winning Faroudja DCDi® Cinema for Advanced Video

The EB-1945W features a Faroudja DCDi Cinema chipset, a video enhancement technology that produces exceptional image quality without introducing artefacts. Faroudja DCDi (Directional Correlational Deinterlacing) was developed to eliminate jagging, using a unique algorithm. The Faroudja DCDi Cinema image enhancement capabilities include Deinterlacing, noise reduction, and sharpness enhancement.

Multi-PC Projection

Epson Multi-PC Projection allows you to display four individual PC screens simultaneously over the network (wired or wireless), with another 12 users connected to the same projector on Standby mode. You can drag and drop participants into or out of one of the four quadrants. This feature is a great tool for meetings or classroom projects where multiple users want to present and compare their screens. You can also connect up to four remote projectors at the same time and show the same multi-screen image; another great tool for remote meeting setups.

Split Screen

Project two images (video or still) side-by-side from two different sources simultaneously. Choose from three layout options. You can swap the images as well as choose the source for audio.

Direct Connect to ELP-DC06

Further enhancing suitability to the modern corporate environment is the ability for the EB-1945W to connect directly to the Epson ELP-DC06 document camera / visualiser. The EB-1945W features unique technology enabling it to connect via USB and provide full operation without the need for a PC.
