Premium Tweeter

Borrowed from Richter’s premium Special Edition range, the new tweeter delivers higher sensitivity, a lower resonance frequency and greater power handling. The result is a cleaner, more open and more engaging presentation, with a new level of clarity that feels like lifting a veil from the music.

Improved Drivers

The new 6½-inch midrange-bass drivers developed for the Series 6plus range deliver worthwhile performance gains over their predecessors, with particular improvement through the critical midband around 1kHz. Non-linear distortion has also been reduced by around 10%, contributing to a smoother, cleaner and more natural presentation. The result is better clarity, improved integration and a more refined listening experience across music and movies.

Improved Wizard Crossover

The improved drivers have allowed Richter to apply key crossover thinking developed through the premium Wizard Special Edition. Combined with the addition of a bass port puck for even better low-frequency management, the Wizard S6plus delivers greater control, balance and overall refinement.

The result is a more composed and engaging performance that helps ensure the Wizard continues its long-standing reputation as one of Richter’s most iconic loudspeakers.

Improved Bass Control

The Wizard now include an additional bass port foam puck, giving listeners a useful middle ground in bass tuning to better suit different room sizes, placements and personal preferences.

If the full bass plug reduces low-frequency output too much, and running the port fully open delivers more bass than the room can comfortably handle, the foam puck offers a more balanced in-between setting. The result is more flexible bass control and easier room matching, helping each speaker perform at its best in a wider range of home environments.
